Maribor Diocese Made EUR 1.27m in Publisher Share Deals, Report Says

Ljubljana, 3 August - The daily Dnevnik reports Saturday that the Maribor Diocese made around EUR 1.27m with two nearly identical deals a decade ago. The paper says contracts it acquired prove the then Maribor Bishop Franc Kramberger and his assistant Anton Stres played a decisive role in extracting money from Church-owned holdings, which collapsed in 2011 bankruptcy.
