Opposition Do Not Want Taxpayer Rescuing Private Banks
Ljubljana, 9 September - The opposition Democratic Party (SDS) has requested an emergency session of parliament after the government and the central bank announced a supervised liquidation of two small private banks in which the state will guarantee for all deposits. Misgivings were also expressed by other parties on Monday.
