Ljubljana, 21 September - Slovenia defeated Ukraine 69:63 in the 5th place match of EuroBasket in Ljubljana on Saturday to claim the fifth overall place at the tournament in what is the second-best result for Slovenia ever at European basketball championships in eleven appearances. Slovenia finished the tournament with seven wins and four losses.
