MPs Endorse Erased Compensation Scheme at First Reading

Ljubljana, 24 September - The parliament approved at first reading Tuesday a bill introducing a compensation scheme for the erased. The bill was endorsed in a 49:1 vote by coalition parties and the opposition People's Party (SLS), while all but one Democrat (SDS) deputy and New Slovenia (NSi) abstained. The bill is to be amended in second reading.
