Church Says Followers Will Need to Help it with Real Estate Tax

Ljubljana, 8 November - The Slovenian Bishops' Conference said on Friday that in case the real estate tax bill gets passed in its current form, the Catholic Church will need to secure several millions of euros in additional contributions from its followers each year to be able to cover the tax. It urged the government to seek broad social consensus on the tax.
