Slovenia Observes Independence and Unity Day
Ljubljana, 26 December - Slovenia is observing Independence and Unity Day on Thursday, the day when 23 years ago the results of independence plebiscite were announced. The bank holiday will be marked with local ceremonies and masses for the homeland, while the main national ceremony already took place on Friday.
