NATO SecGen Promotes Smart Defence in Response to Shrinking Defence Budgets

Ljubljana, 24 January - NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen stressed the need to focus on smart defence solutions, including the pooling of resources among allies, in response to the contracting defence budgets in member states, as he opened his visit to Slovenia on Friday.
