Ex-MEP Thaler Reaches Plea Deal in Cash-for-Laws Corruption Case
Ljubljana, 30 January - Former MEP Zoran Thaler has reached a plea bargain with the prosecution in a bribery case exposed by the UK Sunday Times in 2011 in what was dubbed a cash-for-laws scandal. Thaler confirmed the bargain for the STA on Thursday but refused to disclose any details.
