The team, in the signature white-green-blue attire, is the biggest to date at Winter Olympics with 65 members and many members already had tomorrow's competition in mind.

The male biathletes will compete in the 10km sprint and cross-country skier Barbara Jezeršek, one of a handful of athletes to come out as gay ahead of the games, will compete in the 15km double pursuit.

Slovenia will be looking to improve on two silvers and one bronze medal secured in Vancouver four years ago. Skiing star Tina Maze, the ski jumpers and alpine snowboarders are considered the main medal favourites.
