Slovenia Observes Culture Day
Ljubljana, 8 February - Slovenia is observing Culture Day on Saturday, as a number of events are being organised across the country to celebrate the nation's culture and commemorate the anniversary of death of poet France Prešeren (1800-1849). Slovenians consider culture a key factor that enabled the nation to survive for centuries under foreign rule.
