OLYMPICS: Maze Wins Gold in Giant Slalom
Sochi, 18 February - Slovenian skier Tina Maze won gold in the women's giant slalom in Sochi on Tuesday to win her second gold at the 2014 Winter Olympics and sixth overall medal for Slovenia.

With bib 1, Maze was in the lead after the first run and managed to keep the lead in the second run, finishing 0.07 seconds ahead of Anna Fenninger of Austria and 0.27 seconds ahead of Viktoria Rebensburg of Germany.
Maze won her and Slovenia's first Olympic gold last Wednesday, beating the competition in downhill after finishing fourth in super combined two days earlier.
