OLYMPICS: Cross-Country Team Sprinters Clinch 10th Place
Sochi, 19 February - Alenka Čebašek and Katja Višnar made the final of Wednesday's women's classic cross-country team sprint event and ended the race in tenth place.
Making the final was the basic goal of the Slovenian team, which had to make do without the bronze medalist from the individual sprint event, Vesna Fabjan, who fell ill after her success.
Gold went to Norwegians Ingvild Flugstad Oestberg/Marit Bjoergen, silver to Aino-Kaisa Saarinen/Kerttu Niskanen from Finland and bronze to Ida Ingemarsdotter/Stina Nilsson from Sweden.
