Fmr Maribor Archbishop Suspected of Dodgy Share Deals

Ljubljana, 20 February - The former Archbishop of Maribor Franc Kramberger is among the suspects in an investigation into a share transaction conducted ten years ago that brought the archdiocese EUR 1.3m in only a day. The suspects include the former srchdiocese's treasurer Mirko Krašovec, who has recently been sentenced to two years in prison for EU funds fraud.
