Coalition Opposes Coupling of Archives Referendum with EU Elections

Ljubljana, 24 March - Coalition parties indicated Monday they will not allow the Democrats (SDS)-initiated referendum on changes to rules governing access to communist era archives to be held alongside the 25 May EU elections. They wish the SDS would give up on the referendum entirely, which the SDS labelled a ridiculing of the people's will.
