Čufer Sees Need for Mix of Higher VAT and New Saving Measures
Athens, 1 April - Finance Minister Uroš Čufer said on Tuesday that it will be hard to make up for the loss of revenue from the annulled real estate tax without a combination of a value added tax increase and additional saving measures. He mentioned a 5% cut in the public sector wage bill, while also indicating an income tax reduction.
