Čufer Sees Need for Mix of Higher VAT and New Saving Measures
Athens, 1 April - Finance Minister Uroš Čufer said on Tuesday that it will be hard to make up for the loss of revenue from the repealed real estate tax without a combination of an increase in value added tax and spending cuts. He mentioned a 5% cut in the public sector wage bill, while also mentioning a possibility for an income tax reduction.
