Prelesnik Confirmed as Information Commissioner After All

Ljubljana, 4 July - A quorum was secured in a fourth attempt in parliament after all and Mojca Prelesnik was confirmed as the new information commissioner in a 43:1 vote with 46 MPs present. It initially seemed Prelesnik would fail, as a walk-out by the opposition had only left 44 deputies in the National Assembly.
