Finances a Key Issue for New Local Authorities

Ljubljana, 5 September - One of the toughest issues awaiting new local authorities in Slovenia following the 5 October local elections will be municipal finances. No-one seems to be happy with the current system, with mayors complaining that municipalities are facing ever new costs despite falling revenues.
