Maribor Run-off Pits Incumbent against Ousted Predecessor
Maribor, 5 October - Slovenia's second largest city Maribor will see a run-off between incumbent Andrej Fištravec and the man he helped oust in protests less than two years ago, Franc Kangler. While Fištravec enters the second round with a clear advantage, Kangler promises to put on a fight.
