Only 7% of Mayors Elected in 1st Round Women
Ljubljana, 7 October - Sunday's first round of the local elections brought mayoral terms for eleven female candidates, which is slightly under 7% and matches the "record" figure from 2002. Ten female mayors were elected in 2010.
