Andrej Fištravec, from Protest Mayor to Pol

Maribor, 19 October - Andrej Fištravec won the mayoral run-off in Maribor a year and a half after he succeeded the very man he defeated this Sunday, Franc Kangler, an exit poll shows. He entered the political scene as a clean slate, an anti-Kangler. Now he has won not as an anti-Kangler but despite becoming more like his old nemesis.
