Compensation Costs for Slovenia Over Overcrowded Prisons Keep Rising

Ljubljana/Strasbourg, 17 November - The European Court of Human Rights ruled last week in favour of five more inmates of the Ljubljana prison who sued over human rights issues and the EUR 10,300 in damages awarded have raised the total legal costs the state has had to face because of its overcrowded prisons to around EUR 200,000.
