Carinthian Author Haderlap Wins 2014 Mira Prize

Ljubljana, 20 November - Acclaimed Carinthian author of Slovenian descent Maja Haderlap is this year's winner of the Mira Prize, an accolade launched by the women's section of the Slovenian PEN association last year. The bi-lingual writer was honoured for her 2011 award-winning novel "Engel des Vergessens" (Angel of Oblivion).
