Police Commissioner Adamant He will Not Allow Political Pressure

Ljubljana, 31 January - Marjan Fank, who took over as police commissioner in November, has told the daily Dnevnik that it is not realistic to say that politics does not influence the police force in any way, since it is politicians who award funds and write laws. He would however never allow "politics to tell the police what to do", even at the risk of being replaced.
