Parliament Rejects Criminalisation of Foreign Fighters

Ljubljana, 9 March - Changes to the penal code to criminalise persons who take part in terrorist groups abroad were rejected by the National Assembly on Monday in a 26-49 vote. While most parties welcome the initiative coming from the opposition Democrats (SDS), they also believe that the issue of foreign fighters should be addressed more comprehensively.
