Plans for "American University" in Maribor Scrapped
Maribor, 4 June - The plans to set up an "American University in Maribor" at the location that was originally meant to house a new Maribor performing arts centre, brought by Syrian businessman Hilal Arnaout, have been scrapped over what the investor has labelled persistent opposition in the media and public.
