Debate Shows TTIP Remaining Contentious

Ljubljana, 5 June - A debate in Ljubljana on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) heard on Friday that the agreement was a contentious subject on both sides of the Atlantic. While proponents stressed the need to remove trade barriers, fears were expressed about the lowering of standards and the lack of transparency.
