Yugoslav Army officer Popov acquitted in re-trial

Murska Sobota, 23 October - Berislav Popov, a former officer of the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA), has been acquitted of charges of war crimes against civilians during the Slovenian independence war of 1991 after the prosecution dropped them just as the re-trial against Popov was about to end, the daily Večer reported on Thursday.
