State sues Verbund as compensation for 2012 Drava floods not paid

Ljubljana, 30 October - Slovenia initiated legal action this week against Austrian power producer Verbund over the damaging floods that hit the north-east of the country in 2012. The deadline for the payment of compensation for the damage on state infrastructure had expired, with Verbund refusing to pay up on its own.
