Parties in disagreement over referendum act changes

Ljubljana, 11 February - The parliamentary Interior Policy Committee discussed on Thursday changes to the referendum act, bringing it in line with constitutional changes from 2013. The debate showed significant differences among parties about the need for a ban under which MPs cannot pass a bill that goes against the will of voters for a year after the referendum vote.
