SDS wants to abolish repayment of welfare benefits

Ljubljana, 16 February - The opposition Democrats (SDS) have filed changes to the welfare benefits act, under which the heirs of late welfare beneficiaries must repay the state from the inheritance estate. SDS MP Marijan Pojbič told the press on Tuesday that the government was acting irresponsibly and without any sympathy for the poor.
