Medical Council approves plan for national cardiac centre
Ljubljana, 2 March - The Medical Council, a government advisory body, green-lighted on Wednesday a plan to set up a centre for the treatment of patients with congenital heart disease at the UKC Ljubljana hospital. The decision comes after the hospital's cardiac programme for children suffered a nearly fatal blowfollowing a report of grave mistakes and deaths.
