Türk calls for gender equality, migration policy in UN hearing
New York, 13 April - Danilo Türk, the former Slovenian president, faced questions about policy priorities but also migrations, management of the UN secretariat, and ways of ensuring balanced gender and geographical representation as he appeared at the UN General Assembly on Wednesday seeking support to be appointed UN secretary general for 2017-2021.
