25 years of Slovenia: Life expectancy rising, population ageing
Ljubljana, 20 May - Slovenia's population is getting progressively older, while life expectancy at birth is increasing, rising from 74.1 years in 1995 to 80.5 years in 2015. That year, Slovenia also had 227 centenarians, a four-fold increase over 1999.
