NSi head Novak to boycott alternative National Day ceremony

Ljubljana, 23 June - Various statements ahead of an additional independence ceremony on Saturday, which is expected to be dominated by the supporters of the opposition Democrats (SDS), have confirmed the deepening rift among Slovenia's centre-right parties. More direct criticism of SDS head Janez Janša came on Thursday from New Slovenia (NSi) leader Ljudmila Novak.
