Peterle not allowed to speak at alternative ceremony, cancels attendance

Ljubljana, 24 June - The dispute between the two parliamentary centre-right parties, the Democrats (SDS) and New Slovenia (NSi), is threatening to escalate in the wake of news on Friday that senior NSi member Lojze Peterle has been removed from the list of speakers for Saturday's alternative National Day ceremony.
