25 years pass since the start of ten-day independence war

Ljubljana, 27 June - Twenty-five years to this day the Yugoslav army attempted to retake border crossings from Slovenian authorities, which marked the beginning of a ten-day war, in which Slovenia was forced to defend its newly-established sovereignty. The war ended with the Brijuni Declaration on 7 July.
