Independence crucial, no alternative to EU, says Demokracija

Ljubljana, 30 June - The Slovenians can be happy that the DEMOS coalition of opposition parties won the first democratic elections in the spring of 1990, which had made the 1989 May Declaration the foundation of its activity, the right-leaning weekly Demokracija writes on Thursday as it looks at independence celebrations.
