Türk runner-up in first test vote on new UN secretary general

New York, 21 July - Slovenian candidate Danilo Türk unofficially emerged on Thursday as the runner-up in the first of several preliminary UN security council votes on the successor of secretary general Ban Ki-moon. Slightly more support among the 12 candidates was only expressed to former UN High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres.
