Four insurers merge to form second-largest in SE Europe

Maribor, 3 November - Insurer Zavarovalnica Sava, created through the merger of two Slovenian and two Croatian subsidiaries of Sava Re, has officially come to life, forming the second largest insurance company in SE Europe. Zavarovalnica Sava boss David Kastelic told the press on Thursday that the insurer wants to reap all the possible benefits of the merger.
