Doctors unlikely to succeed in quitting public sector pay system

Ljubljana, 16 November - The doctors' trade union FIDES is unlikely to succeed in its demand for doctors to be excluded form the public sector pay system, according to reactions from the coalition. The ruling Modern Centre Party (SMC) considers it infeasible, with the other two partners fearing it could unleash a storm of similar demands.
