It's Independence and Unity Day

Ljubljana, 26 December - Slovenia is observing Independence and Unity Day on Monday, remembering the day in 1990 on which the outcome of the independence plebiscite, held three days earlier, was declared. Prime Minister Miro Cerar highlighted the importance of unity in his holiday message.
