President signs Ljubljana Initiative for a new EU constitution
Ljubljana, 6 January - President Borut Pahor and several notable public figures signed on Friday the Ljubljana Initiative on a new constitutional process for the EU, which is accompanied by a new draft Treaty for the Constitution of the European Union. The signatories wish to provide new impetus for integration and to protect "the European idea".
