New case of bird flu confirmed
Ljubljana, 8 January - After a case of bird flu was confirmed in Pragersko in the north-east of Slovenia on Wednesday, another dead swan tested positive for the virus subtype H5N8, the Administration for Food Safety, Veterinary Sector and Plant Protection said on Sunday. The swan was found in Maribor.
