Mercator says Agrokor problems cannot impact its operations

Ljubljana, 16 March - Mercator dismissed on Thursday concerns over the financial woes of Croatian conglomerate Agrokor, which acquired Slovenia's leading grocer in 2014. The company said the situation "will have no direct bearing on Mercator", as an agreement is in force until 2020 "that gives us a relatively high degree of independence as regards the use of finances".
