ECHR says auctioning off home over EUR 124 bill disproportionate

Strasbourg, 25 April - The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has ruled that the sale of a Slovenian citizen's home in a court-ordered auction due to an unpaid utility bill had involved a disproportionate interference with his property rights. It ordered that Zoran Vaskrsić be paid EUR 85,000 in damages.
