Small shareholder association endorse boss after sentence

Ljubljana, 6 September - Kristjan Verbič has offered his resignation as the president of the Pan-Slovenian Association of Small Shareholders (VZMD) over an eight-month suspended sentence for insider trading, but the VZMD council has decided not to accept it, assessing that in the Velana case, he had been acting in accordance with the association's mission.
