Law bailing out hospitals with EUR 136m passed in parliament

Ljubljana, 19 September - Parliament passed on Tuesday an emergency law for the financial stabilisation of public healthcare institutions, securing EUR 136m from the state budget. Hospitals that apply for the cash handouts will have to adopt restructuring plans and accept oversight by special Health Ministry committees that will have the power to dismiss managers.
