Referee strike postpones national basketball competitions

Ljubljana, 3 October - The start of competitions in the first Slovenian basketball leagues for men and women, two minor leagues and the national cup have been postponed indefinitely due to a strike by referees, who are protesting against the Slovenian Basketball Association (KZS) lowering their travel allowances.
