Govt endorses Sancin's bid for UN Human Rights Committee

Ljubljana, 12 October - The government endorsed on Thursday the candidacy of international law expert Vasilka Sancin for the UN Human Rights Committee. Sancin replaces as Slovenia's candidate former ECHR judge Boštjan M. Zupančič after the government withdrew its support for him at the end of August over a controversial statement.
